SMW has over 40 years of experience in the model-making industry. Specialising in producing outstanding bespoke marine models, we achieve innovative, true-to-life replicas across every project we work on. Our team of skilled craftsmen have decades of experience and this combined with the latest technology means we can produce highly-detailed, intricate models that exceed our client’s expectations. SMW company ethos is accuracy, detail and precision.

BESPOKE QUALITY

Specialising in bespoke and made-to-order products, we only produce what is needed and no more. Our models are long-lasting, durable and fit for purpose. We work closely with our clients to ensure each model is exactly as they require and always build them with longevity in mind.

When the real-size vessel is upgraded we offer a model refurbishing service, allowing the existing model to be repurposed and upgraded just as the full-sized vessel is.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT

We support local schools with fundraising and donate any unused materials for school projects.

NET ZERO

Lowering our impact on the environment is just one of the ways we are investing in a greener future. We have recently joined the Switch 2 Zero initiative which helps to offset our carbon footprint and funds projects to plant trees and stop plastics from ending up in the ocean.

WASTE RECYCLING

Waste from our workshop is removed by CSH Environmental which has a Zero to Landfill target. They are committed to sending as much of the waste they collect as possible for reuse and recycling, with the ultimate aim of sending none of it at all to landfill.
